Heavy-duty 1.2mm thick steel construction
Smart kick-out fold design
Upgrade your outdoor chemical storage with Weather Roofs®, a registered design built for compliance with AS1940-2017. Crafted from heavy-duty 1.2mm steel, these easy-to-install outdoor cabinet protection roofs slide over existing cabinets and screw securely in place. A smart kick-out fold design prevents water seepage and staining, keeping your cabinet clean and dry. Made from the same heavy-duty steel and powder coated, it simply slips over the existing or new Flammable cabinet to change it from being a complaint indoor cabinet to being a compliant outdoor Flammable Cabinet. Slips over the top of our 350L Flammable cabinet or 250L Flammable cabinet and there is another size to slip over the top of the 160L Flammable cabinet

Frequently Asked Questions
Our cabinets are designed for Class 3 flammable liquids including paints, solvents, thinners, adhesives, and other flammable substances. Available in multiple sizes from 15L to 350L capacity, they’re commonly used in manufacturing facilities, automotive workshops, painting contractors, maintenance departments, laboratories, and any workplace or industrial setting handling flammable chemicals. Learn more about how our cabinets comply.
All cabinets feature a 150mm high watertight bund to contain spills. Our smaller models have robust door closers with three-position latching, while larger models feature sequentially closing double doors to prevent fumes from escaping. All include adjustable galvanised‐steel shelves with vents for airflow, and larger models have drain channels to direct spills into the bund. These safety features meet regulatory requirements outlined in our AS1940 compliance review.
It’s important to understand how many litres of product you have that need to be safely stored. Work out your container dimensions and quantity, then check the cabinet dimensions against your available space. Our 100L cabinet can sit under a bench, on a bench, or as a freestanding island unit. The 350L model is built from 1.2mm thick steel and weighs 268kg. All models include adjustable steel feet and key locks with two keys, and some ship fully assembled on pallets. For detailed setup instructions, see our installation guide.
Each cabinet ships with flammable‐goods labels, a safety vest, and chemical‐resistant gloves. Some models also include safety glasses. Every unit comes with stainless‐steel location brackets for earthquake anchoring and an earthing cable with alligator clip to prevent static buildup. Additional shelves are available on our website.
To keep your cabinet operating at peak performance, follow our maintenance guidelines at least every 6 months.
All cabinets feature full-seam-welded, all-steel construction with a TSCW powder-coated exterior for durability and UV protection. We offer a lifetime warranty against faulty workmanship (excluding wear and tear and damage). Our 250L model has remained unchanged for over 20 years with thousands sold. If you encounter any issues, consult our troubleshooting guide for support.
The earthing cable supplied with your safety cabinet is a crucial safety feature designed to prevent the buildup of static electricity. This is particularly important when you are storing or dispensing flammable liquids, as static discharge can create sparks capable of igniting vapours, posing a severe fire or explosion risk. For step-by-step setup, see our installation guide.
